Learn how to connect Microsoft Teams to your Ploy account so you can receive notifications and send surveys and reminders out.

1. Open Ploy and navigate to integrations

  1. Go to https://app.joinploy.com/integrations and select MS Teams under the Communications Section

  2. Select the "+" icon to add a connection

  3. Enter your Microsoft tenant that you are wanting to connect

  4. Click authenticate and follow the Microsoft authentication instructions

2. Setup

In order for Ploy to be able to send messages to any team and any user in your tenant we need you to upload our application to your teams app catalog. This allows us to install this application to any Team or User (just-in-time) when they receive a message.

To do so, first download the app manifest zip file. You will need to upload this in the next step.

The ZIP File is located at the bottom of this article, simply click the file to download

3. Upload to MS Teams Admin

  1. Navigate to your MS Teams Admin

  2. From here you want to click

    1. Manage apps >

    2. Upload new app >

    3. Upload

4. Upload the Zip file

Now select the zip file you downloaded in Step 1 of this.

5. Navigate to Ploy to test

Now navigate back to your Ploy dashboard and click test on the Microsoft Team integration you have open. Once it succeeds click save.
